A large, floppy grass, great for erosion control. Grasslike, leaves present all year. Grows to 5-7’ tall.
Install above spring tide. Tolerates full salinity (35 ppt).
Description: Principal use for Bitter Panicum is in coastal dune erosion control. It has a high drought tolerance. Found throughout the east and and lower midwest in coastal areas.
